Riceland Homes, Inc. is a CUSTOM HOME BUILDER--new construction only--building in the State of Ohio in the counties of Wayne, Stark, Holmes, Medina, Tuscarawas, Ashland, Richland, Erie, Summit, Huron.
Riceland Homes, Inc. builds on the owner’s lot using Amish Carpenters and Masons. Customers may choose one of Riceland Homes, Inc. standard plans or submit their ideas for custom designing. Riceland Homes, Inc. uses state-of-the-art CAD technology and old-world-craftsmanship to produce award winning quality homes.
The company is owned and operated by the family of Ronald E. Lechner. Ron is currently President, his son Scott is Vice President, his son Joe is Treasurer, his wife Nancy is Secretary. All construction work is 100% subcontracted. The subcontractors have been chosen also for their excellence of workmanship.
Riceland Homes, Inc. is an active member of both the Wayne/Holmes county Building Association and the Stark County Building Industry Association. The Company is also active in the National Association of Home Builders. Ron has served as president of the local organizations, and the company employees are very active in the local organizations. Riceland Homes, Inc. has won numerous awards for excellence in design and construction. Riceland Homes, Inc. is a member of the National Federation of Independent Businesses.
Riceland Homes, Inc. supports an in-house design and consulting service. Using computer assisted design (CAD) tools and computer estimating, Riceland Homes, Inc. is a leader in the use of computers to aid in the design, construction, and accounting of the new home process. The company’s offices are currently located in the model home at 141 S. Kansas Road Orrville, OH 44667.
